Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the "Ahead - Student Planner" mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Ahead is an AI-powered academic planning tool designed to help students organize their schedules and coursework. The App uses artificial intelligence to generate suggestions and schedules.

3. AI Disclaimer

You acknowledge that the App uses artificial intelligence ("AI") to generate content.

• Accuracy: AI systems are not perfect. Ahead may occasionally produce incorrect, misleading, or biased information. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of any deadlines, exam dates, or study materials generated by the App.
• No Academic Guarantee: We do not guarantee specific academic results, grades, or performance. You are solely responsible for your academic success.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Some features of the App typically require a paid subscription.

• Payment: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscription automatically renews unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Management: You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings on the App Store after purchase.
• Refunds: Refunds are handled directly by Apple according to their refund policy.

5. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose.
• Attempt to reverse engineer the App or its AI models.
• Harass, abuse, or harm another person via the App.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its code, design, and branding, is owned by Quilt Labs LLC. You retain rights to the specific data (assignments/tasks) you input into the App.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quilt Labs LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to missed assignments, academic failure, or data loss.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Virginia, United States.
